Toyota Financial Services covers more than 30 countries and regions. TFS has constructed a global network that covers approximately 90% of the markets in which Toyota sells its vehicles. Mainly concentrated on auto loans, leases, and Toyota dealer floorplan requirements, TFS provides auto sales financing to approximately 11.6 million customers globally.
Due to a seismic shift in the auto industry, Toyota was seeking to “white label” its financial services division for other Automotive OEMs. This transition would generate tremendous amounts of new data spread across 50+ external sources, as well as extraordinary demands on business intelligence teams across multiple departments – and the new platform had to launch in five months!
Launch executed a rapid “data initiative POV,” complete with reference architectures, objective tool analysis, feature development, hundreds of stakeholder interviews, existing system audits, and deep security planning.
Quickly turning from discovery to execution, Launch provided advisory, architectural, and development muscle in the creation of a best-in-class Enterprise Data Platform. Launch delivered through both planning and analysis as well as deep engineering depth.
