In Colorado, providing low-income and underprivileged individuals access to health insurance is a critical concern. The state offers two primary pathways to coverage: policies subsidized under the Affordable Care Act (ACA), commonly known as Obamacare, and state-run Medicaid and Medicare programs. However, navigating these options can be challenging, particularly for individuals whose eligibility fluctuates throughout the year.
To address this, our client aimed to develop a single, state-wide application platform that would streamline access to healthcare and welfare benefits for its residents. Their next step?
